Border Day
February 12th, 2026 was border day for us. We had a bunch of connections to make and then there is the border crossing which, even for us law-abiding folks, can be a bit nerve-wracking, as we saw an example of this day. 6:00 am was our alarm, time to get up and get packed. We had to catch the 7:00 am hotel ferry to get to the other ferry on South Caye Caulker. This would allow us a spare hour to grab breakfast before getting on the Belize Express Ferry to Belize City. Summer is a wrap
This summer in the USA bumps into fall as quickly as it began. It was bookended by the magical wedding of a sweet young woman I have known for most of her life, and the engagement of her spicy little sister. I'm so happy for them both.
